Valmec awarded Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR) Packages

Valmec has been awarded two Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR) Packages for our valued client ATCO Australia.

The scope of the packages includes the installation of 400m of DN 100 pipe, 700m of DN 150 pipe, tie-ins to the existing lines, and decommissioning of the redundant sections.

The relocation of some of ATCO’s key gas lines will allow the BORR Project to progress, which will provide an alternative route around Bunbury and separate local and regional traffic.

Last month, some of our Valmec Team members along with ATCO, South West Gateway Alliance and other stakeholders attended a smoking ceremony onsite, conducted by Joseph Northover from the local Beeliargu Wilman Noongar people.

The Valmec team will start the project by commencing excavation and pipe stringing works, starting at the first site location.
